Central focus of the Konzerthaus: Rolf Böhme Saal
Named after Dr Rolf Böhme, the former mayor of Freiburg who was instrumental in the construction of the venue, the hall is the central focus of the Konzerthaus. Thanks to its scope for transformation, it’s a room of superlatives, and at the time of planning and still today, it’s a true innovation. The Rolf Böhme Saal offers for a maximum of 1,744 people in rows of seating. Alongside the furniture, the acoustics and the unique atmosphere, the main appeal of the hall is the sophisticated technology and the flexibility this offers.

Special Features
In the Rolf Böhme Saal there is a diverse range of seating options available, as well as the option of keeping the hall empty without any seating or stage. If only one level is needed for congresses and social events, a hall with around 1,000 square metres of room opens up in nearly no time. The side aisles are pulled upwards so that the hall can be easily opened to the surrounding foyer on three sides. All hall variants offer a variable stage. We are happy to offer individual seating plans on request.
